I had such an amazing experience with Ema today! After an uncomfortable consultation with another stylist a few weeks ago, I was a little nervous to try again, but Ema completely changed that. She made me feel so comfortable and never once made me feel embarrassed. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted, and it showed! The whole salon has such a calm, welcoming vibe, and I absolutely loved the spa-like touches and relaxing head and hand massages. Ema Rose knows what she's doing, but she also makes an effort to make sure you know what she's doing, too :) She seems comfortable taking the reins however little or much you prefer, and that kind of flexibility and willingness is one of the traits I most favor in a stylist. I think if you come prepared with an idea of the look you're going for, she's going to thoughtfully talk through the concept with you, and land you as close as your hair can get to that concept. Every step of the process is highly consent-based, so I especially recommend Ema for anyone with sensory needs or neurodivergence.
